A leader in the football x fashion space, Barcelona’s Jules Kounde has teamed up with custom kit designer Diana Al Shammari, better known as The Football Gal, and adidas Paris to produce a limited edition floral embroidered jersey.
Jules Kounde has his finger on the pulse when it comes to style, and his walk-up for game days has become its own supporting act to the main event that is the match itself. For one such arrival, the French international arrived at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys wearing a custom Nigo x adidas Japan third jersey designed by Diana Al Shammari, aka The Football Gal. The designer has built a reputation as one of the best in the game when it comes to embellishing football shirts, having worked with the likes of PUMA in the past on Italy’s shirt selection in 2020, as well as producing numerous other elevated shirt designs.
The bespoke adidas Koundé jersey comes in a navy base with white accents in the branding. A bespoke crest has been created, featuring a stylised flower above the “2024” numbering. Al Shammari’s signature embroidered floral motifs then adorn the left and right sides of the chest, with the number 23 – Kounde’s number at Barcelona – sitting in the centre in sky blue. The number 23 also takes up residence on the back of the shirt.
The jersey will be available to purchase at the new adidas Champs-Elysées flagship store in Paris from 22 June.
