Designed and presented in collaboration between adidas Originals and Munich-based design studio Bureau Borsche, FC Bayern Munich have revealed their latest ‘LFSTLR’ collection from the Three Stripes.
Arriving as the perfect lifestyle companion to the club’s recent retro-infused third shirt, FC Bayern have revealed a new ‘LFSTLR’ collection from adidas Originals. It once again sees the Trefoil in place across the range, building on from their retro collections from the end of 2023 and back in April of this year. Here, the collection is headlined by a fashion-focused retro jersey that’s inspired by the previously mentioned 2024/25 third shirt, and it acts as the perfect complementary piece to that drop.
The long-sleeved jersey features the adidas Originals Trefoil logo and the Bayern crest used between 1966-1967, along with full length Three Stripes running down the sleeves. Throughout the body, a sublimated graphic featuring the Trefoil logo lends a luxurious feel to proceedings.
Given the close geographical proximity of Munich to Italy (the German city is often fondly called the northernmost city of Italy), the photo editorial celebrates the close connection between FC Bayern and Italian culture—a relationship born from club legends like Luca Toni, Giovanni Trapattoni, and Carlo Ancelotti, as well as the city’s many Italian influences, including Italian restaurants like the Osteria Italiana from 1890 and the abundance of street cafés.
As well as the jersey, the collection features a tee, hoodie and track pants, all in the same colour scheme. The design of the full collection, including the new third shirt, was done in collaboration with Bureau Borsche, who were also responsible for the art direction of the photoshoot.
For the launch of the new third jersey and ‘LFSTLR’ drop, adidas Originals and FC Bayern are inviting the lifestyle fan community to the Paulaner Bräuhaus (Kapuzinerpl. 5) in Munich this Saturday (17 August, 3-10 pm), where, among other activities, they will have the opportunity to customise their FC Bayern x adidas Originals jersey.
