With the rise of fashion culture within football, we are seeing more and more clubs team up with fashion labels to design lifestyle ranges and pre match apparel. Bologna FC are the latest club to get involved, joining forces with C.P. Company.
C.P. Company, the iconic Italian fashion label, have officially become Bologna FC's new fashion partner, with the team debuting their new pre-match fits this week in the Champions League. A previous collaboration with Manchester City earlier in the season combined with this newest partnership further solidifies C.P. Company’s name within football subculture. Massio Osti founded the business in the city of Bologna back in 1971. After a 50-year connection with football culture, particularly welcomed by terrace fashion fans, it was only right for C.P. to provide for their hometown club. The partnership pays homage to Osti’s deep connection with Bologna.
With Champions League football coming back to Bologna after a 60 year drought, it was perfect timing for a homecoming for the innovative label that have ingrained themselves into football subculture.
Bologna players turned up rocking classic C.P. attire, including matching navy jackets and trousers adorned with the C.P. Company logo and Bologna FC badge. A standout of the collection is a special edition goggle jacket with customised red lenses – a nod to the traditional colours of the club.
