Genoa CFC take a deep dive into nostalgia with the latest drop in their vintage kit collection, throwing it back to the iconic 1999/2000 and 2000/01 seasons.
Following last year’s revival of the classic red-and-blue home shirt, and a pervious dalliance with a retro selection in the wardrobe, Genoa and Kappa now unveils the away (white) and third (orange) jerseys, both arriving in long-sleeve form with that Kappa Banda formation running down the sleeves for that pure retro aesthetic. The Vintage Kit is inspired by the 1999/00 and 2000/01 sports seasons, recreated to honour the original designs.
Adding a fresh cultural crossover to the mix, Genoa teamed up with Italian rapper Bresh to deliver these special edition shirts to 50 artists at the Festival di Sanremo 2025. Each jersey features a patch inspired by Bresh’s latest track, "Tana del Granchio," and comes complete with a personalised card signed by the artist himself.
A dedicated Sanremo photoshoot captured the connection between Genoa and the legendary music festival, building on the club’s recent match against Torino where players took to the pitch sporting Sanremo-themed patches.
Genoa continue to blur the lines between sport and entertainment, following in the footsteps of past kit collaborations with WWE icon The Undertaker and global music star Rita Ora. With this latest release, the club once again taps into its rich heritage, blending football, music, and local traditions to craft something truly special.
The Genoa x Kappa vintage collection collection is available exclusively on the club's online store and in the Via XX Settembre store.
