One Block Down have given us the first taste of the Spring Summer 25 collection, with pieces featuring clear nods to the beautiful game. The collection looks to draw inspiration from iconic kits and terrace fashion, blended with the signature One Block Down aesthetic. A perfect fusion of football and fashion.
2025 is officially the year where football influence meets street style and One Block Down are making sure of that. Although an official date drop hasn’t been given, the streetwear label has given us the first look at the new Spring Summer collection for the year, and it’s nothing short of a beauty. With direct nods to the beautiful game, SS25 thrives off an overlap of football culture and modern streetwear, using bold graphics and iconic silhouettes in a fresh and stylish way.
A standout piece of the look-book is undoubtedly a Brazil T90-inspired football jersey. With Total 90 well and truly back on the scene and rumours of a 2004 re-issue, there was no better time to drop this than now. The bold yellow base and green trimmings clearly reference Brazil’s nation team palette, instantly evoking some serious football nostalgia. It brings back a feeling of that iconic T90 silhouette, with the ‘9’ and ‘0’ switched in the centre of the jersey. Meanwhile, obvious One Block Down DNA is intwined into the visuals, with the established O logo taking place as well as a unique frog graphic which takes this jersey to new levels. Sure to be a festival favourite this summer.
Other nods to football can be seen across varying pieces, including a vintage Italy inspired long sleeve which immediately brings an overwhelming sense of early 00’s nostalgia. 10/10. Another lifestyle piece pays tribute to the England national team with the infamous Three Lions logo printed onto the back, whilst fashioning that blue, white and red.
No doubt SS25 is going to go down a treat with the football fans this summer. One Block Down are opening up a new realm to the football fashion industry and we are 100% here for it.
Keep an eye out for an official launch date...
