We are getting used to hearing Over the Pitch’s name when it comes to football fashion, and they return once again, this time linking up with popular K-pop girl band tripleS. The collaboration fuses K-fashion and streetwear with vintage football aesthetics, reflecting OTP’s sport-culture identity as well as the band’s contemporary vibe.
Over the Pitch. You know the name by now. The Korean streetwear label have made their mark on the football fashion industry over the years, and they only keep on growing. It's another month and another collaboration for them, as they team up with renowned K-pop girl band – tripleS. Known for their fashionable and contemporary vibes, the band are the perfect partners to further expand OTP's reach across Korea as well as the rest of the world. The two have designed a capsule collection named 'Team SSS Assemble', bringing to life vintage football aesthetics with modern streetwear DNA. With the word 'team' sitting at the heart of the collection, the pieces pay tribute to tripleS' group concept as all 24 individuals in the band come together to unite.
The collection is made up of a number of different pieces, all of which embody Over the Pitch’s rich football identity. Football-inspired jerseys take the main stage, using a tripleS logo as a sponsor, which arrive in two different colourways: all black, and black and white striped – two classics. Other pieces include a varsity jacket, oversized shirts, caps, bags and accessories, rounding up a complete collection.
The campaign shoot behind the launch captures all 24 members of the group in a casual yet bold aesthetic, dressed in the relaxed fit pieces from the collection layered with other accessories – showcasing football fashion to the max. Embracing both individuality and team spirit, the shoot highlight the collaborations ethos perfectly and sets the standard for all football-inspired lifestyle collection in the future.
