adidas Originals travels to South America in search of a vintage treasure chest at an independently owned shop in Buenos Aires as part of a new documentary.
After a tip off about a store in Argentina stacked with vintage adidas trainers and clothing, creator of the adidas Originals x Spezial range Gary Aspden put together a team of adidas fanatics to travel to Buenos Aires and check it out. The SHOWstudio video features Ian Brown, Robert Brooks and Mike Chetcuti, all passionate adidas enthusiasts, tracking down the Argentinian store with photographer Neil Bedford and filmmaker Greg Bond documenting every unearthed, dust-covered gem pulled from the shelves. Carlos Ruiz holds the key to an adidas treasure chest with each product a look into adidas' rich history.
The adidas Spezial exhibition will be held at 7 Dale St, Manchester from Oct 24 to Nov 2nd.
