The 2018 World Cup looks set to bring a collaboration between Off-White and Nike according to details leaked this week. Sneaker gurus @py_rates have revealed that NikeLab will be collaborating with Off-White on a soccer kit, along with a number of other complementing pieces.
The rumoured collaboration has picked up serious pace with Off-White themselves liking the @py_rates tweet about the hook up. If the leaks are to beleived then we'll be looking at a collection that will consist of Home and Away kits, socks, hoodies, track jackets, ball, and three soccer lifestyle silhouettes for Summer 18'. A collab with potential to carry the football/fashion crossover to new heights along the road to Russia.
Nike recently teamed up with superstar designer Virgil Abloh in 2017 for an Off-White x Nike collab that re-invented 10 classic Nike silhouettes, and this year looks set to bring more re-imagined style and bespoke fire through a football lens. Following on from the success of "The Ten" collection, Abloh created a series of football kits for 2017's Art Basel Miami in December. The game's on his mind.
There's been no word on when we'll see a release, but stay tuned for what is sure to be a mammoth year.
