Landing in that space where football hits the pavement, New Balance and Liverpool Football Club have collaborated to release a trainer to celebrate the club's 125th anniversary. A special edition 'LFC 247' sees a contemporary classic from New Balance washed in the colours of Liverpool.
The first collaboration of its kind between the club and brand, they are the first LFC branded trainers available in the UK for more than a decade and goes to show a place where football finds itself right now. A punching red makeover for the 247 silhouette, the Liver bird has been added and the Liverpool crest sits proudly stamped into the inner sole as well as the tongue. Additionally, '125 Years' is marked on the outer heel of the shoe.
A special edition shoe to mark an enormous anniversary for Liverpool, it's most certainly one that is being styled out. Available in both adult and junior sizes you'll have to get in quick. Crunching concrete around Anfield, they land in stores and online from Friday 19th May alongside the release of the 2017/18 home kit and training collection.
