Virgil Abloh's Nike World Cup 2018 plans gather pace as a first look at the new Zoom Fly Mercurial Flyknit emerges. Dropping in the same aesthetic as the limited edition Mercurial Vapor 360 football boot, it's the latest piece in a hype heavy summer collab.
Abloh, who is now the artistic director of menswear at Louis Vuitton, is set to drop a full football-inspired Off-White collaboration with Nike for Russia, and the Zoom Fly Mercurial Flyknit follows the Mercurial Vapor 360, Off-White x Nike Mercurial Touch GK gloves, and football jersey as part of the wider World Cup collection.
The Zoom Fly Mercurial Flyknit sneaker replicates the design of the sold-out football boot, with a bold orange upper that features signature Off-White details and polka dots. Images are also circulating of a black rendition of the design – both colourways sit on top of a React Foam base.
