Just hours after Paris Saint-Germain sealed a domestic treble by lifting the Coupe de France, images have emerged of an Air Jordan 5 Retro sneaker that pays tribute to the Parisian power houses of footballing style.
Featuring a special Jumpman logo which perfectly replaces the Eiffel Tower on the PSG club crest, the Air Jordan 5 silhouette is expected to be launched as part of Jordan Brand's upcoming "International City Pack". Submerged in a deep black wrap to complement the PSG Nike third shirt of this season, the shoe is finished with dashes of club red, white and blue.
Other standout features include an embroidered “75” number on the outside heel, which is a reference to Paris’ zip code. Strong Jumpman x PSG logos stand tall on the heels, as well as on the translucent sole. A drop date is yet to be released by the Jordan Brand, but we can expect them to ride on the wave of PSG's success sooner rather than later.
PSG star Neymar has already received two signature Jordan Nike football boots, and now the club look to build a closer relationship with the Jordan Brand.
