On the eve of their highly anticipated and highly limited drop we're taking a closer look at the Shoe Surgeon's latest masterpiece – the adidas Samba Dame 4. A hybrid hype of football meets basketball meets street.
Set to land on the Shoe Surgeon's online store on June 16 the adidas Samba Dame 4 will arrive in seriously restricted numbers. Will you get hold of a pair when they drop? Probably not. Can you stare at these shots and cross your fingers? Absolutely.
The Shoe Surgeon has become the king of merging alternative footwear silhouettes in his own trademark style, and he's added another cross-sport model to his collection with his latest mash-up that places the iconic Samba upper on the base of basketball's adidas Dame 4 shoe.
The Shoe Surgeon has always taken favourably to soccer-inspired designs, having previously created one off designs including a Copa Mundial Boost, Tiempo '94 x Jordan 1, Nemeziz x Yeezy Boost, and Copa Rose Whiteout – none of which have been officially released to market.
The Shoe Surgeon began by experimenting with custom footwear and showcasing the results for his followers to admire, but things have gone next level with the Samba Dame kicking off an official collaboration with adidas. Wheels are very much in motion, and Chambrone has already indicated that he has more tricks up his sleeve as the 2018 World Cup progresses.
Stay tuned to the Shoe Surgeon's online store on June 16. Failing that, we're giving away a pair on Instagram...
