Ramping up city rivalry once more, adidas Originals have dropped two ‘Paulista’ derby-inspired Trimm-Trabs. Sao Paulo sauce drizzled all over the casual culture classic, all you have to do is decide where your allegiance lies.
The “Rivalry Pack” focuses on the famous Paulista Derby of Sao Paulo between Corinthians and Palmeiras, and it sees the adidas Originals Trimm-Trab adopting either a Corinthians colourway or a Palmeiras paint job. The Corinthians pair takes a tumbled white leather core and embellishes it with red and black on the Three Stripes to mimic the club’s home look. The Palmeiras sneaker takes a green base with white trim, again, matching the club’s home look.
The “Rivalry Pack” follows the “Merseyside Pack”, which took the same principles across Liverpool and Everton-inspired Trimm-Trabs. If this is going to be an on-going theme, what rivalries can we expect to be captured in sneaker form in the future? Manchester? Milan? Madrid? Personally, we’re looking forward to seeing what they could do with Buenos Aires…
