Los Angeles-based lifestyle brand Oyster Holdings and adidas Originals hook up once again for a fresh trio of treads. The adidas Originals x Oyster Holdings capsule is titled “World Traveller’s Cup” and it’s comprised of the Samba OG in three vibrant colourways of blue, yellow and red.
Continuing Oyster Holdings’ central message of “Traveling is a Sport”, the “World Traveller’s Cup” capsule follows on from last year’s travel-inspired “48-Hour Pack”. Delivering the most pleasing of packages, the collection sees the super Samba silhouette, complete with the pleasing presence of the over-sized tongue, given three bold looks. And on that extended tongue, you’ll find the adidas’ trefoil logo embellished in gold trim behind a globe for the finest of finishes.
The upper construction combines a ripstop fabric with textured full-grain leather, riding on a classic gum outsole. The Three Stripes stand out in white on each colourway, while the Oyster Holdings’ logo appears on the heel, below another appearance for the adidas Trefoil. Classic kicks recreated through the most appealing of collaborations.
