Celtic rounded off yet another impressive season by securing a historic Treble Treble this year, and as part of the celebrations New Balance have launched their 997H sneaker in the club’s colours, allowing fans to show their support both in the stands and on the street.
New Balance follow up last year’s Celtic Fresh Foam Cruz v2 and iconic 247 sneakers by wrapping the 997H silhouette in the colours of the club. The Scottish champions have once again defied all opposition in the 2018/19 season to complete a historic ‘Treble Treble’, which has seen them lift all available domestic trophies. Impressive, and definitely deserving of a bespoke sneaker.
The Celtic 997H sees flashes of green on the toe box, collar, New Balance branding, and of course, the club logo on the tongue and innersole, while the rest of the shoe stays fairly neutral. The upper is constructed from a white mesh with leather and suede overlays lending it a premium finish, while a touch of gold is slipped in across the upper vamp for a subtle nod to the huge success the club has enjoyed over the last few years. Definitely one for the Bhoys.
