Looks like Nike have given Neymar Jr an early Christmas present, with the Brazilian offering a sneak peek at two new golden signature Shox sneakers. Arriving under lock and key – or rather lock and combination in this case – was a Shox R4 and a Shox TL alongside it, both dressed to impress in new golden colourways.
The Neymar signature Shox series began with the initial R4 release, which arrived in two colourways back in May, and that was followed up a sublime “Black/Gold” Neymar Shox TL update back in July. Now Nike have provided the flamboyant Brazilian with both silhouettes at the same time in something of a festive-ish paint job.
Shown off on his Instagram stories, both the R4 and the TL models arrived in a combination-style safe before Neymar opened the door to reveal what was inside. Both styles adopt gold as their primary colour, with black accents popping through the collar and outsole in something of an inversion of the July release. Neymar’s logo again takes its place on the tongue of each, as it has done on the previous colourways. What do you get for the man who has everything? Well, there you go. Yep, this is some serious swag.
Whether they are set for a wider release is currently unknown. Could be that they’re just a special gift from Nike for the PSG man. But we'd guess that they might be available down the line, and if that is the case you can guarantee they won’t hang around for long.
