The PSG x Jordan train just keeps on rolling, and now we’ve got a closer look at an upcoming drop from the collaboration, the Air Jordan 7, wrapped up in some fresh Paris Saint-Germain stylings.
The PSG x Air Jordan 7 first popped up on our radar back in early March, but now we’ve got a closer look at the sneaker, courtesy of @sneakertigger. The pictures show the new sneaker on foot, lending the aesthetic a much more real world feel while also teasing the fact that we're gradually nearing an official release.
The shoe takes PSG’s classic tricolore of blue, white and red and splits it across the canvas, with white taking on the dominant base. The “College Navy” colouring pops through on the inner heel bootie, neoprene throat and the badge backdrop of the heel’s Fleur-de-lis insignia, while the “University Red” spills onto the interior lining, Jordan tongue branding and rear overlays.
The PSG x Air Jordan 7 is set to expand the imaginative design of Tinker Hatfield by swapping the mid-foot and ankle panels for transparent mesh windows, improving breathability and reducing the overall weight. Further details shown off here in better detail include the gold-plated Jumpman logos on the upper ankles as well as the “Paname” tabs that are planted onto the mid-foot. The outsole is core black with the blue, white and red interruptions joined once again by the Jumpman logo, which takes its place of the heel.
Rumours of a late May drop for the PSG x Air Jordan 7 persist, but still no official word as of yet.
