Dropping in support of the Arsenal 21/22 third shirt, adidas unveil a new look for the ZX 2K Boost sneaker, which adopts the striking design of the Gunners’ new strip.

Pulling it out of the bag yet again, adidas laid out another striking design for Arsenal (quite literally this time) when they launched the club’s third shirt for the 21/22 season, which reinterprets the iconic design from the 95/96 season. And landing in support of that drop is a corresponding ZX 2K Boost 2.0 sneaker, wrapped in the same lightning strike design aesthetic as the shirt.

The ZX 2K Boost boasts a classic track shoe design with a contemporary silhouette. The TPU cage wraps around the shoe, leaving the “Mystery Blue/Scarlett/Signal Cyah” colours, presented in the lightning strike graphic of the third shirt, to pop through the windows on the forefoot, side foot and tongue. There’s a full length Boost midsole, but with the ZX 2K 2.0, the rear quadrant is wrapped in an updated heel clip. The Arsenal crest takes position both on the insole and also on the outsole, visible through the translucent outsole.
