adidas Release 'Manchester United Third' ZX 2K 2.0 Boost

Arriving to complement of Manchester United's new third shirt for the 21/22 season, adidas release a special edition version of their ZX 2K Boost 2.0 trainer, which adopts the same colourings of the new kit.

Following in the same steps as Arsenal, Manchester United are the latest club to receive a new special edition version of the adidas ZX 2K Boost 2.0 trainer, which, like the Gunners’, comes in support of the club’s new third shirt, adopting the same colouring as the shirt. The United third shirt pays homage to the away shirt from the 93/94 shirt with a black, blue and yellow graphic treatment, and that same pattern is the underlying base layer of the new trainer.

The ZX 2K Boost boasts a classic track shoe design with a contemporary silhouette. Borrowing the adidas Equipment-style vibes of United's third shirt, the ZX 2K Boost 2.0 shows off club badges on the sockliner and outsole, while the TPU cage wraps around the shoe, leaving the “Core Black/Glow Blue/Yellow” colours, presented in the same graphic of the third shirt, to pop through the windows on the forefoot, side foot and tongue. There’s a full length blacked out Boost midsole, but with the ZX 2K 2.0 the rear quadrant is wrapped in an updated heel clip.
