Closer Look At The PSG Air Jordan 5 Low

Grab a closer look at the highly anticipated PSG Air Jordan 5 Low, which was officially launched as part of the now obligatory PSG x Jordan wider lifestyle collection that accompanied the Parisian’s latest kit drop.

Yesterday saw the launch of the Paris Saint-Germain x Jordan away kit for 22/23, and while there may have some fears that the end of the exclusivity of the deal between the club and brand may have meant a reduction in the added extras that accentuate new kit drops, those fears were well and truly put to bed, with the arrival of a complementary lifestyle collection. And amongst that lifestyle collection was a return to where it all began – on the sneaker front at least – with the Air Jordan 5.

The Air Jordan 5 was the first to debut the dual branding of Jordan and PSG as part of the initial drop back in 2018. Now it’s back, this time in a low silhouette, and decked out in the corresponding colours of the club’s new away kit and wider collection, all of which pays tribute to the legendary Parc des Princes stadium, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and in which PSG has played 1,147 matches to date.

First introduced to the world in July by American basketball player Zion Williamson during a visit to Quai 54 in Paris, the Air Jordan 5 comes dressed in an official colourway of “Pumice/Game Royal/Plum Eclipse/Bright Crimson”, featuring a Grey base with “PANAME” medial tags atop a Black midsole and icy co-branded translucent outsole. “Paris” features behind the tongues, with a wax stamp, style “PSG” logo signing off on the heel.
