Nike’s Tuned Air icon is getting the PSG treatment, with early looks at the incoming sneaker surfacing online. The sneaker features PSG’s club colours and signature details including “Ici C’est Paris” down the tongue.
The Air Max Plus is in focus in football at the moment, thanks to Nike’s recent Mercurial crossover, which has dropped in two colourways so far: “Volt Purple/Total Orange” and “Black/Pimento”. Now, that focus spills into the club scene, and who else but Paris Saint-Germain are the beneficiaries, with a signature edition of the sneaker featuring several callouts to the Ligue 1 side set to drop any day now.
Ahead of that drop, a first look at the collaborative Air Max Plus “PSG” has surfaced, with a design that is synonymous with the reigning French champions. The club’s signature colours are presented in a navy-to-red gradient across the mesh upper, while “ICI C’EST PARIS” features down the center of the tongue and on the the right sneaker’s insole.
The Nike Air Max Plus “PSG” is expected to drop in Summer 2024.
