Football Talk - Huntelaar close to Stuttgart switch - 15/07/09
Klaas Jan Huntelaar is close to securing a move to Bundesliga club Stuttgart, according to Real Madrid sporting director Miguel Pardeza.
The Dutch international has become surplus to requirements at Real after the club's summer spending spree and did not travel with the squad on their pre-season trip to Dublin on Monday.
"(We) are in very advanced talks with Stuttgart and the best thing to do was to find a solution," Pardeza told Spanish radio. "I think the player was aware of this and opted to stay in Madrid to see if a final resolution can be found."
