European Round Up - Final Matches!
Throughout the course of the season SoccerBible has rounded up the best domestic European action, football boots on show and the star performers. But this week our slant is a little different, as we take a look at a crunch weekend across Europe's top leagues. Here's the lowdown on the contenders to win the domestic honours, from Europe's top leagues...
Unsurprisingly, the title race is down to the wire between Barcelona and Real Madrid. Cristiano Ronaldo's 89th minute winner against Osasuna has given the Galacticos an outside chance in the title race, but with just two games left Barcelona are in the strongest position. The Catalan giants lead their rivals by one point, and face a potential banana skin away to Sevilla in their next game, before playing Real Valladolid in their final game. Whilst Real will be hoping for a strong performance at home to Atletico Bilbao before going away to Malaga.

After faltering at the start of the season Bayern Munich have been in formidable form to power to the top of the Bundesliga. For the final game of the season, the Champions League finalists need just a point to secure the title away at Hertha Berlin, whilst Schalke who can still technically win the league travel to FSC Mainz 05. Although Schalke will surely be left ruing defeats against Werder Bremen and Hannover in recent weeks, which have effectively handed the title to Bayern.

Inter Milan have stolen the advantage back from Roma, after the Rome side were defeated by Sampdoria in their previous fixture. With two games of the season left Inter Milan hold a two point advantage, and will fancy their chances with games at home to Chievo and away to Siena. But it is Chievo who could hold the key to the destination of the Serie A title, as they also play Roma after Totti's men have played Cagliari in their penultimate game of the season.

Marseille have claimed their first Ligue 1 title in 18 years, under the guidance of Didier Deschamps. Marseille's victory over Stade Rennes secured the league title with two games left to play, which includes a trip to title rivals Lille who still need a victory to finish runner-up.

The title was always going to be between Rangers or Celtic, but a disappointing campaign from Celtic has been compounded by a good season from Rangers who claimed the title with games to spare. Celtic will be playing for pride in their last game against Hearts, whilst Rangers play at home against Motherwell to celebrate the SPL title. On a side note, Rangers captain David Weir remarkably won the Scottish FWA Player of the Year award at 39 years young!

Benfica title celebrations were put on hold after a defeat to Porto, which means Braga can still technically win the league. However, with one game of the season left to play Benfica need just one point at home to Rio Ave to wrap up the Portuguese Liga title.

Anderlecht have continued their dominace of the Belgium league, claiming their 30th league title! The Pro League season has already finished with Anderlecht securing the title on 18th April.

The Czech Liga is providing the most thrilling end to a league this season, with just four points seperating the top four teams and just two games left to play. At the moment Sparta Prague have the advantage, with crucial games against Jablonec and Teplice at home for their final two matches. While Banik Ostrava host Mlada Boleslav before travelling to Pribram, hoping for two victories and an improved goal difference.
