After the F50 adizero dominated the goalscoring charts at this summer's World Cup finals, it hasn't taken long for the popular speed boots to follow suit in the world's most prestigious club tournament. Thanks to goals from players including Lionel Messi, David Villa and Hugo Almeida, the F50 adizero's have already notched up 6 UCL goals from the first round of games.
The next closest boot competitor is the perennial Swoosh favourite, the Nike Mercurial series with 4 goals. Thanks in part to a wonder strike from Werder Bremen's Marko Marin, the Mercurial boots look like they will push the F50 adizero's all the way this season.
Swoosh fans can take solace with the knowledge that Nike fair better in Manufacturers chart, where Nike and adidas are currently tied with 7 goals apiece.
