Newcastle hitman Andy Carroll is set to make his England debut against France at Wembley, but is he challenge of leading the attacking line?
Castrol Performance data shows that Premier League joint-top scorer Andy Carroll has attempted 39 shots this season, more than any other player in the English top flight. Carroll has taken the Premier League by storm this season, and leads the scoring charts in 2010/11 alongside three other players including his team mate Kevin Nolan.
The 6 3 tall striker combines aerial presence with great technique on the floor: he has scored a league-high four headed goals and his effective left foot has found the net on three occasions - only three other players have netted as many left-footed goals.
