The adiZero has set the pace all season in the Premier League. Despite lacking a prolific goal scorer, the super-light adidas boots have relied on consistent scoring from their large player roster. An incredible 98 goals more than their 09/10 total, the adiZero has transformed into the undisputed leading EPL boot with 202 goals. Top scorers include Arsenal's Samir Nasri, Chelsea's Salomon Kalou and Sunderland's Asamoah Gyan.
A late surge for the adidas Predator saw adidas' premier boot climb to second place in the EPL Boot League. Impressive goal totals from Golden Boot winner Dimitar Berbatov and Arsenal star striker Robin van Persie culminated in an impressive total for a boot that is not generally associated with strikers. The 09/10 winner will be looking to reclaim its title next season with the introduction of the new adiPower Predator.
The Nike CTR has enjoyed another impressive Premier League season, finding the back of the net an incredible 165 times! The Nike CTR360 continues to impress in front of goal with attacking mid-fielders making up the majority of the roster. A relative new-comer in the boot world, the CTR has become a pro favourite. The Nike boot finishes the season just three goals behind the adidas Predator and has become a serious threat to the adidas veteran.
It's been a steady season for the Nike Mercurial range. Having finished the 09/10 season with 155 goals, Nike's headline speed boot hasn't enjoyed as much success this time around. Just 114 goals to the Mercurial name - a total that combines both Vapor and Superfly professionals. The Mercurials continue to grace the feet of the leagues biggest players but have been chasing its adidas speed rival on the goal count all season long.
It's not been a season to remember for the Nike T90 Laser. Last seasons runner-up with 145 goals has taken a serious hit with lead players not finding the same goal scoring form. Star players Wayne Rooney and Fernando Torres have struggled for goals, resulting in the T90 failing to break the 100 mark. Nike's power boot will be looking to bounce back next season.
