Adrian Mierzejewski (Poland) Puma v1.10

An individual choice here from Poland's Mierzejewski, who was spotted wearing the older v1.10 football boots, and he's not exactly gone for a subtle colourway!

Mario Balotelli (Italy) Nike CTR360 Maestri II

Balotelli has quite stubbornly continued to wear his CTR360 Maestri I football boots for competitive action, however, as this picture from the Italian session shows, it's not because he feels uncomfortable in the Maestri II as he is happy to wear them for training.

Darren Fletcher (Scotland) adidas adiPower Predator

Previously a Nike Tiempo wearer, Fletcher switched into a similar boot last year when he started to wear the adidas adiPure. However, the Scottish captain made his return to competitive action wearing the adiPower Predators.

Christian Fuchs (Austria) Pele 1970

In the early days of a relatively small brand, they will try and get credible player endorsement. Not a bad effort from Pele Sports, who can boast an international captain, as Christian Fuchs was spotted wearing the white/red 1970 versions.

Jason Garey (Houston Dynamo) Under Armour Blur Pro

It wasn't all international action, as the MLS still had some feature games. Including Houston Dynamo's Jason Garey, who was on the score-sheet wearing a boot that hasn't seen much on-pitch action, the Under Armour Blur Pro.

Marcin Wasilewski (Poland) adidas F50 adizero Custom

We're guessing Wasilewski isn't meant to be wearing these adidas F50 adizero's, so either he's endorsed by another brand or has his own dispute with adidas. Either way, Marcin clearly feels passionate enough to pull out some sock tape, and hide the branding.

Karrar Jasim (Iraq) Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly I

It's nice to see, whether it's intentional or not, that Nike's (RED) campaign still has some legs. Here's Iraq's Karrar Jasim sporting a pair of yellow Superfly I's.

Keismer Powell (Costa Rica) Umbro Stealth Pro

An interesting boot choice, but a good look with his Costa Rica kit. Keismer Powell was wearing some Umbro Stealth Pro I's, which like the Costa Rica kit have a majority white colourway with subtle red detailing.

Christian Maggio (Italy) Lotto Futura 100

Last week Maggio was spotted on the forums wearing Lotto Zhero Gravity's. However, for Italy's international game Maggio was wearing another speed boot from Lotto, the Futura 100. Which in our opinion, isn't too dissimilar to a Vapor II boot you'll see later in this edition of Boot Spotting.

Marcelo Martins (Bolivia) Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly III

There hasn't been a huge player uptake yet for the orange Mercurial Superfly III's, which could be as Nike are asking their endorsed athletes to continue to push the platinums, or it could be down to personal choice. If that is the case, then Bolivia's Marcelo Martins must be a fan after sporting the boots this weekend.

Omar Cummings (Jamaica) Puma v1.11

There's credit to a player who co-ordinates his boot choice with his football kit, as it completes a great look. So we have to acknowledge Jamaica's Omar Cummings, who has chosen to wear the green Puma v1.11 football boots, a great match for the Jamaica kit.

Walter Ayovi (Ecuador) Nike Mercurial Vapor II

We have to be honest and say if we owned these Nike Mercurial Vapor II football boots, we'd be tempted to keep them in a display case and not wear them any more. These Vapor II's are a classic boot, and it's great to see them next to their modern counterpart.
