Planet Football Goes Pink!
It's not just the MLS who are supporting Breast Cancer Awareness this month. Throughout October you may have spotted a number of players amongst the English and Scottish leagues wearing pink sock tape to raise awareness for the charity...
A number of professional players in the football league have teamed up with Cancer Research UK to coincide with the massive support seen in the MLS where players have been sporting pink boots.
The tape, which is already being worn by players from Crystal Palace, Accrington Stanley, Walsall and Hibernian is expected to be seen on a number of players in the Premier League.
The campaign in the MLS received incredible support and produced some stunning colorways for us boot spotters! The players who have opted to wear pink are raising awareness for a life changing and inspirational charity whilst adding a touch of vibrant colour to their game.
Football is the perfect platform to help raise awareness and this campaign offers players the opportunity to stand out on the pitch whilst supporting Cancer Research UK.
