Fabio Capello called time on his four-year tenure at the helm of English international football last night, leaving behind the best winning ratio of any England manager...ever (66.67%). Quicker than Fabio could book a seat on the first flight back to Italy, the country simultaneously voiced their unwavering support in the direction of 'Arry Redknapp.
While Redknapp attempts to juggle the media circus he finds himself embroiled in and managing one of the greatest Spurs sides in Tottenham history, we thought we'd put the question to you, the SoccerBible audience. Should (when) the FA offer Redknapp the job, the Tottenham manager faces one of the biggest decisions in his career. He's managing a potential title-winning side in the biggest league in the world. But with the EURO2012 Championships just four months away, his name is on the lips of every pundit and player across the country. Even Manchester United duo Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand have chipped in with their thoughts.
Gutted capello has quit. Good guy and top coach. Got to be english to replace him. Harry redknapp for me.

I think we need an English manager now, we don't need anything else lost in translation....Harry Redknapp would be my choice by a distance.

The hunt for England s next manager is already under-way. A short term appointment is expected, with Capello's former assistant and U21 coach Stuart Pearce tipped to take charge for the upcoming friendly match against the Netherlands. As for Redknapp, Tottenham's title race is rightly front of mind, but the clamour surrounding the vacant England job will be hard to ignore.
