Champions League Final Heads to London

Champions League Final Heads to London

The unique look and atmosphere of Munich's Allianz Arena has been recreated in London to celebrate the Champions League Final between Chelsea FC and FC Bayern Munich on May 19.

Fans have been given the chance to experience the magnificent stadium via a piece of unique 3D art which was installed at Westfield London. Special guest Dietmar Hamann was on hand to unveil the recreation, offer an insight into the final and to build the excitement for fans in London ahead of the Champions League final on Saturday. The artwork will now be moved to Munich ahead of the final for fans to interact ahead of Saturday's fixture.

Dietmar Hamann, who played in the epic 2005 final between Liverpool and Milan and has played for Bayern Munich, was looking forward to the two giants of European football meeting. Looking at the Chelsea side, Hamann highlighted the current form of players like Didier Drogba, Ashley cole, Frank Lampard and Petr Cech as being key, whilst stating for Bayern Munich a lot will depend on Franck Ribery and Mario Gomez.

For the final at the Allianz Arena both Chelsea and Bayern Munich will be given an equal amount of tickets, so despite the home pitch advantage there shouldn't be a home venue atmosphere for Bayern. That is of course dependent on how much noise the Chelsea fans make!
