LFC Players Gear up in new Predator
Fans of the more traditional looking adidas Predator will be pleased to see a host of LFC players preparing for this weekend's FA Cup Final, wearing the classic colour combination of Black/Red/White on their Predator Lethal Zones football boots.
The new adidas Predator LZ football boots have made quite a stunning impact on the boots community, dividing fans with their opinions over the new-look Predator and it's eye-catching launch colours. But as adidas continue to innovate and push the range into new territory, one tradition they'll never compromise is the classic and iconic Black/Red/White colour combination.

One of the first questions we asked ourselves, when we saw the Blue/White/Infrared Predator LZ colourway was - what is Steven Gerrard going to wear? Quite famously the Liverpool skipper only wears black Predator football boots. Well here is the answer as adidas had planned the traditional colours the whole time, they just thought they'd get a bigger reaction to the new Predator Lethal Zones if the traditional colours weren't publicised at launch!
If it was adidas' intentions to find a Predator rich club immediately after launch, then they need look no further than Liverpool. Who boast among their ranks as Predator wearers; Steven Gerrard, Dirk Kuyt, Martin Kelly, Jonjo Shelvey, Maxi Rodriguez, Charlie Adam, Jon Flanagan and Jamie Carragher, although it appears the Lethal Zones could be too new-school for Carragher!
The new look Preds certainly stand-out, almost in the same way the Warning/Black/White F50 did when adidas launched the new look adizero 1 back in January 2011. The red is less subtle than before, so although Black/Red/White might sound more toned down, they don't appear that way on pitch and are sure to stand-out on the Wembley turf.
A new boot launch always excites us and the boots community, especially when it concerns a long-standing favourite. So let us know what you think of the new look adidas Predator, now you've seen it in the traditional colours? Share your thoughts online, on Twitter and on Facebook.
