Well our biggest loss was 9-0 this season, which is a lot less than 55. Things are moving in the right direction for a team branded the worst in Britain . Their historic and monumental 55-0 defeat made Madron FC famous in 2010.
Since that drubbing, the Cornish based side have won sympathetic admiration across the country. Now as part of a series of films made for Channel 4 by Somethin Else, we're given an inside look into everyone's favourite underdog side.
The short film shines an inspiring light on local football at its lowest level. Even though we get beat every week, we look forward to it every Saturday. I'd rather play for a bad team that has fun, than for a good team that you don't enjoy playing for.
