We speak to Global Senior Product Manager Antoine Hadjimanolis about adidas' new Brazil 2014 inspired Boot Pack.
Prior to the release of adidas' 'Samba Pack' we sat down with Global Senior Product Manager Antoine Hadjimanolis to discuss the colourful new boots. Speaking to us at adidas' Global HQ in Germany, Herzogenaurach we grabbed a few words about the new set of releases that have everyone looking forward to next summer.
The Samba Pack is adidas' first World Cup related release and as Antione explains has kick started the countdown with a bang "We have about twelve hundred articles in our range for SS14 that relate to the Brazilian Word Cup. The biggest pillar of emotion lies with this pack here in football footwear...This is the start for us, our kick off on the road to Brazil".
The Samba Pack drops across all of adidas' football footwear silo's; The Nitrocharge, Predator and most notably the new generation adizero F50 and adiPURE 11PRO. Another feature debuted in the Samba Pack is the use of block colouring with the Nitrocharge's 'EnergySling' and Predator's 'Lethal Zones' the same colour as the boots upper.
"We decided to die down the identity and the particularity of each silo and this is for only one reason, so that the pack stands out...It is all about the pack, all about the impact we can have on pitch and the colour need to be the most impactful and bright."
The new pack is a bold move for adidas but one that is sure to grab some attention on the road to Brazil "You take one of these boots individually in terms of colour and they'll stand out, put the five of them together and you've got the most outstanding pack that we've put out on the market this year and on the field of play."
The new adidas 'Samba Pack' football boots are available to pre-order now from selected online stockists including Pro-Direct Soccer.
