We chat adidas Predator with Manchester City's Spanish playmaker.
We sat down with David Silva at the Samba UK photoshoot in Manchester to chat about his relationship and associations with adidas and to get his thoughts on the progress of the Predator collection and the latest LZ model.
Manchester City's Spanish playmaker has pulled the strings in all of adidas' boot silos throughout his career and that's a testament to the quality of the brand's footwear, which Silva acknowledges. "For me as a kid, it wasn't easy to get such high quality boots, but now I have the opportunity to represent adidas and I am truly happy and proud."
Silva discusses what the brand means to him and how he enjoys his relationship with adidas. The City midfielder explains the importance of the Predator's lightweight comfort but he can't help let out a cheeky smirk when he talks about the new "attractive colours" of the new Samba edition Pred.
Silva pays tribute to the touch offered by the Predator underlining the importance of that factor to his game. Talking about the evolution of the boot Silva told us "I think they are always improving and they're always looking to enhance the boots, like the texture and the weight, great boots are being made."
