Hitting up London for an exclusive event to launch the new Red Limit pack, Paul Pogba and Stormzy shut the house down and left it red as “Project Pogba” officially arrived in town.
Two kings on their own patches, "Project Pogba" saw the man himself land in London, choppered in from Manchester, while Stormzy dropped in fresh from the studio to join the events host for the night ― Radio 1Xtra DJ, Twin B ― at a secret location in the capital. From adidas Tango Squad members through to YouTube hitters, it was an event that landed fresh out of the box as adidas kicked off the ACE 17 campaign trail with some of the city's freshest young talent.
Like it or not, the Pogba hype train has been a glorious thing to watch since his return to the Manchester United in the summer. Of course, the man who started it all with that video, was Stormzy himself. Donning fresh threads and fronting up all things ZNE, not to mention the new adidas Purecontrol Ultra Boost and Yeezy Boost 350, it was a strong showcase of everything the Three Stripes stands for right now and their creative drive on-and-off the field.
No subtle curtain call on 2016, this December is just beginning and it's going to be a fired up month. Throw down the wrapping paper and head pitchwards.
