It started out with 40 teams competing for one super sought after spot. The adidas Tango League, set under the iconic arches of London, reached its conclusion on Friday with the winning team moving on to Paris to face other champions from all over Europe.
The culmination of a league that arrived with heavy swagger, it's been one of concrete play and raw talent combined with three striped style and pacey play. The final night in London saw the top teams whittled down in ruthless fashion. Each winner taking their chances clinically, play never stopped with no place for the ball to go other than the back of the net. The only way to catch your breath? Score a goal.
Taking the trophy washed in a green, the winners were 'La Masia a Tango Squad'. The adidas Tango League now heads to Paris and we're rooting for La Masia to lead the line. Let's go champs.
