EA Sports have released their latest FIFA 17 trailer with a big dollop of nostalgia from the off. A remix of the FIFA 98 sounds track "Song 2" by Blur sets the pace as new gameplay features are showcased as well as new celebrations and managerial antics on the sidelines.
There are two types of people in this world; those who believe FIFA 98 was the greatest game of all time and DAMNED FOOLS! The nod to that game in the new trailer is a nice touch and has us falling into luscious daydreams of Steve McManaman running riot in the indoor five-a-side arena. Great, great times. We've gone off track here, by about 19 years... The new FIFA 17 trailer features what is clearly the most advanced graphics EA Sports have ever produced and the attention to detail is more impressive than ever.
Trademark celebrations all round as Pogba gets the dab on, Bafétimbi Gomis gets his animal crawl going and even Adebayo "The Beast" Akinfenwa gets his jig on in his new Wycombe colours. Other highlights feature Wenger moaning, Mourinho in his shirt and tie and Klopp celebrating a Liverpool goal with his players. Shut up and take our money already.
FIFA 17 is out on September 27 in the US and September 29 in the UK.
