On a solo mission to land big stripes, New York played host to the adidas Tango league as it steps from territory to territory in taking over the small sided game.
Bringing a hard courted party together once more, this was the chance for the NY adidas allegiance to turn up and go toe-to-toe with the fight for a trip to London the prize lit up in lights. What's more, the opportunity to front an adidas campaign and have your name signed along the dotted line as an ambassador for the brand - it's a prize of plentiful proportions. Descending on caged quarters, this event didn't disappoint. Feisty challenges flying in and the onlooking support creating the chaos from the other side of the cage, it proved to be another instalment of strongly striped scale.
All to play for from the feet up, where 'Tango' is concerned it's a retro inspired designed that has found fresh life on the streets and is dominating the game in small sided fashion. For adidas, it's an opportunity to get to the heart of the football playing community and build a style savvy story that takes the game to ever changing places. We're on board with that.
Another showing that highlights the changing face of football and in the states, the growing footfall that finds it's way towards our damn fine game. So where next for the Tango League? Fresh territory, of course. Stay tuned.
