A very british backdrop as the rain smashed down, there's no sign of spirits dampening where the Tango League is concerned. A chance for individuals to battle it out on a team and individual level to get noticed and earn their way onto a squad of the strongest street players going. As the Champions League steps closer, the trophy was on location and shone as a pristine piece from the elite game. Battling it out though, this was a game of style as it was strength.
Joining the stage, James Tomkins and Andros Townsend were also on hand to speak to the players who are looking to lead the line and earn that illusive adidas contract.
Free flowing, fast paced and a finale for the teams to go to work. There's a ruthless competitive edge when you hit up the cage but where the Tango League is concerned, it may be a tough tackle in the corner but the respect is huge. As well as on the pitch, the party took to a different stage off it. A block party for football, the sounds are just as strong as the skill.
Forget any straight up 4-4-2. That's old news. The Tango League continues to stride in places the normal game can't. Mixing off pitch culture with on pitch play, it weaves between football and lifestyle, music and fashion - all with a Californian dream to play for. It's fresh ground for a new generation. Game on.
