LBFL Season 3 | The Return To Training

Returning with as much brass as sass, the arrival of the LBFL Season 3 is imminent. Fresh teams, new kits and a more creative game than Leo's accounting, it's going to be another ride of inspired football. We dropped in to catch a glimpse of the first training session of 2017.

The home of Red Star Paris sees the backdrop for this training session as one to savour. A time treasured raw footballing haven in the shape of the 'Stade Bauer', that's where this set up starts the next chapter of the LBFL journey. A space where football meets fashion, music, and art  naturally the surrounding walls are coloured with graffiti as the league starts to lay its foundations for another year.

Just three years young, for those unfamiliar with Le Ballon and its exploits, the premise is simple though hugely effective. Born out of a Parisian watering hole, it all started at a football inspired pub. From there, the locals and their natural passion for the game began playing. Creating a hub for the creative game in the process, it's grown to eight teams and around 100 players.

This years teams include; CCC, Atletico Paris, River Dubplate, Paris 75ers, Foot Tang Clan, Public House FC, Bled FC and latest new comers Glory Hunters. Each team is branded and the kits are incoming. For the first game, each side was sporting a special edition Red Star Paris shirt with bespoke badges and Le Ballon typography for the name and numbers.

This is a league where the finer details have been thought out. It's a unique offering that champions independent thinking. We're ready and suited for the party and will be taking it all in right up until July.
