'Football' meets 'football'. Enjoying his summer with plenty of swoosh, Marcus Rashford took time to drop in at Nike's World Head Quarters in Portland and was welcomed by an icon from NFL in the shape of Odell Beckham.
Since bursting onto the scene, the rising stock of Marcus Rashford goes without saying. An increasingly powerful presence in the Manchester United squad, he's taken great steps while maintaining a focused outlook. There's no question, he's had a heavy impact in adding flair to the English game and risen to the top of the ranks. Having spent much of his summer training at the Nike Oregon Project, it was at Nike's global HQ where an extra training session was laid on and led by a fellow trailblazer in the shape of Odell Beckham Jr.
Offering a different perspective the New York Giants wide receiver swapped shirts with Rashford as well a few passes and the pair were both met with a heroes reception as fans and Nike employees watched the link up unfold. Another off-season experience for Rashford, his trip to the United States has been well littered with sporting icons as he also spent some time with Ronaldinho. Putting in the distance too, a quick flick through the Man Utd players' Instagram shows the time has very much been going into perfecting his game in pre-pre-season.
Heading back out to the States with Manchester United in July, the club along with Rashford kick off proceedings with a friendly against LA Galaxy on the 15th July.
