Nike Launch Sergio Ramos "Corazón y Sangre" Tiempo With Madrid Event

If ever you wanted to get a glimpse as to what Sergio Ramos means to the people of Madrid then look no further. As Nike launched his signature Tiempo, "Corazón y Sangre" the brand hosted an event that paid tribute to one of the world's all time greatest from a golden elite.

Sergio Ramos is a player who blurs the lines with ruthless swagger though despite a tough exterior and a tailored style, his passions run deep as they provide the inspiration for this signature slice of football boot treasure. Embracing the culture of the man, this event, which took place with a metropolitan background of Gran Via, was one well designed. Graffiti lined the walls in a live almost gallery-like fashion and with his recently unveiled logo reworked into an installation piece, this event was washed in gold and packed plenty of fire.

If the art and fashion side were taken care of then it only left the music outstanding. Covering every base of cultured class, Nike pulled out the stops as beats were dropped and the creative collective of La Ti Go familia were on hand and their inspired Dellafuente FC added an extra mix of spice to proceedings. A deeper sense of authenticity and a real coming together of strong styles, it's these contributing factors that make Sergio Ramos such an individual among the elite.

Proudly showcasing his personalised boot while firing back answers as he took to the floor, Sergio Ramos hosted a Q&A and offered an insight into how these boots came to be. From the inspired and hidden meanings of the illustration that scribes the heel through to the various lock up and nods to those elements of his life that he holds dear, all bases were covered. Even further detail such as the wondrously beautiful soleplate were showcased and like a jewel in the crown or the champion piece in what must be an incredible boot collection. Pure style and so much substance to match.

Naturally, for a true individual, while customisation has never been more prevalent, this event was not short of bespoke touches. Ramos was able to customise his own Air Force 1 and give it his own branded stamp then and there and topping it off, he was presented with a pair of the blank canvas beauties of a sneaker which had been given a makeover by a Madrid graffiti artist. A one-off, one of a kind.

Just 4,000 pairs of the "Corazón y Sangre" Tiempo have been made and with El Clasico landing this weekend, they will get their first on pitch outing for Sergio Ramos. Fresh from The Club World Cup into arguably one of the biggest games on the European scene - it's a high life with massive presence. A world leader of football cool and an icon while he's there - Ramos will wear the boots numbered 0004 while the remaining 3,996 are on sale now.
