Embracing the rivalry and adding some extra flavour to a fixture that is already simmering way beyond any peri-peri put down, PUMA took to London yesterday to host an event dedicated to "Derby Fever". With Bellerin taking on Fabregas and Henry ruling the ring, it's got the trash talk going.
As a lunchtime kick off looms, Chelsea and Arsenal are preparing to go to battle and Stamford Bridge this weekend. A tenacious rivalry that sees two sides fight it out for three crucial points and the bragging rights over their claim of London, this goes further than any regular fixture. Turning up the heat in anticipation, PUMA took to one of London's meanest boxing clubs, dressed it in their style, re-turfed the ring and brought Hector Bellerin and Cesc Fabregas to go toe-to-toe. Looking on, the legendary figure of Thierry Henry played on the shoulder as these two took to the stage to go through round one as they each laced up their "Derby Fever" boots ahead of this weekends on pitch battle. 
Fire on the feet, PUMA have given each players boots a fresh lick of paint especially for the forthcoming game. Dropping the "Derby Fever" collection, it sees Hector Bellerin suit up in a special "Bellerin" edition pair of evoSPEED SL.S that land in a "High Risk Red" while Fabregas will lace up a bespoke "French Blue" pair of "Cesc" evoTOUCH Pro. Both players slipped into the boots for this event as they took each other on in a two-touch challenge in front of a football thirsty crowd. 
With Thierry Henry completing the bill, each player was put in the corner ahead of the game on Saturday with no rallying battle cry needed for either player. Consider this round one which on the style game went to Bellerin but the two-touch battle went to Fabregas. Two players of different elite qualities, it was a match up that saw pace take on control and red look in the eyes of blue ― the appetiser for the main course.
All eyes turn to 12:30 tomorrow. As we tuck into our sandwiches, these two will be going through the rounds. Bring it on London Town.
