PUMA and AC Milan have officially announced a long-term partnership that will come into effect from July 1st 2018. The Italian giants will become part of the PUMA family next season and join the likes of Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund.
AC Milan are one of the most iconic football clubs in the world, and the race to capture the club after they cancelled their existing partnership with adidas last year has been fierce. PUMA have fought off the competition to ensure that they've added one of world's football's genuine powerhouses to their ranks for the 2018/19 season and beyond.
To announce the partnership between the heavyweight pairing, PUMA called on Italian rapper, Ernia. Born close to the San Siro and a lifelong AC Milan fan, Ernia has released a freestyle rap highlighting the partnership.

The red half of the San Siro may be in the process of re-climbing back into the big time, but 18 international titles, including 7 UEFA Champions League titles proves that this is a serious deal for PUMA. Bjørn Gulden, Chief Executive Officer of PUMA said: “We are very proud to be partnering with AC Milan. They are one of the most successful clubs in the Football history with a large, global fan base. The Rossoneri jersey is one of the most iconic jerseys in football. We are looking forward to the next chapter of this legendary football club being with PUMA.”
Expect to see the first PUMA x AC Milan shirt from July 2018.
