Middlesbrough could be bringing Hummel back to the Premier League next season as the Teessiders have signed a five-year deal with the brand which will be in place for the beginning of the 2018/19 season.
Middlesbrough are currently sat in the Championship play-offs meaning there's a chance that they could bring Hummel back to the Premier League dance floor. The Danish brand were replica leaders in the 80s and 90s with clubs such as Real Madrid, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Wimbledon, and Southampton all on their books, to name just a few.
The famous Hummel chevrons are a welcomed sight for any football shirt enthusiast. Hummel create some of the most bespoke shirts in the game, and their presence at any club should be embraced. Middlesbrough wore a Hummel kit to win promotion in 1986/87 in what was to prove to be the catalyst that ultimately led to Premier League football, the Riverside Stadium, and the sight of some of the biggest names in world football on Teesside.
Hummel will unveil the Middlesbrough 2018/19 home and away shirts later this summer.
