Cristiano Ronaldo has touched down in China to kick off his 2018 CR7 Tour. His first call to action was to visit a school to open a brand new football pitch built from his shared efforts with Nike during his time in China over the past two years.

The Juventus frontman has focused on several opportunities to support the country's grass roots football effort, and his 2018 schedule began with a project which started in 2017. Last summer Ronaldo was on hand to honor Lv Shao Wu, who brought football to students in the rural, mountainous area of Long Xi County in the southeast of Gan Su Province. The culmination of a year's effort came in the ground-breaking result of a new pitch in Lv's community, which CR7 opened this week.

Ronaldo was also sporting his new and exclusive C罗 collection which carries an exclusive new logo on and off-pitch. After having a kick-around with the kids and wading through the crowds Ronaldo will continue across China with Nike, who flew him out on a private branded jet at the beginning of the week.
