Manchester City have been turning heads on arrival to their pre-season games in the USA. The full first team squad have been kitted out with a minimalist blackout outfit designed by high-end Italian fashion label Dsquared2.
City have had an ongoing partnership with Dsquared2, and have worn their pre-game outfits before, most notably in last season's pre-season tour as well as their blackout branded Champions League suits. But this summer, they're making more noise with a more daring combination that has been causing a stir across City's social media channels.
The all black outfit sees a simple black tee with Manchester City branding paired up with black shorts, and a very bold formal shoe and black sock combination. That's what we're uncomfortable with, isn't it? Leroy Sane, knows it. The outfit looks smart as with trainers. Dsquared2 have also thrown in a branded wash-bag and belt to complete the full pre-match vibe.
It's different. You just know that somewhere in Paris PSG's PR team are seething that another club are trying to enter the merging worlds of fashion and football. Those shoes though, just can't get over those shoes. The tweet below sums everything up very nicely.
The Manchester City x Dsquared2 collection is set to drop in the coming weeks.Â
