Neymar was joined by his girlfriend Bruna Marquezinette and PSG teammate Dani Alves at the Off-White show as part of Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Spring/Summer 2019 last night. And if you're gonna third-wheel, third-wheel like Alves.
The Brazilian forward was dressed in an Off-White hoodie, black jeans and limited edition Nike Air Max 97 x Off-White sneakers as he took up his front row seat to next to British actress and model Cara Delevingne to watch Virgil Abloh's SS19 pieces showcased down the runway.
Mixing it backstage with Fashion Week royalty such as Alessandra Ambrosio, Neymar was accompanied by the ever eccentric Dani Alves wearing gloves, shades, and a studded leather jacket for a typically statement style.
2018 has been a big year for Off-White in football, as the fashion brand ventured into the sport with Nike to drop numerous collaborative pieces including a limited edition Mercurial Vapor worn by Neymar's PSG teammate Kylian Mbappe, and the launch of the full “Football, Mon Amour” OFF-WHITE collection, again with strong Parisian ties.
Building on a breakthrough season in terms of the merging worlds of lifestyle, fashion and football, it's no surprise to see Neymar and Alves leaning on their Nike links to attend the Off-White event on their own doorstep. An appearance that will further please Paris Saint-Germain as they continue to embrace the capital's fashion scene within their own club branding and activations.
That and the fact that both Neymar and Alves' partner are models and probably watch far more football matches than the boys watch fashion shows. Firmly in the good books, chaps.
Check out more PSG Fashion Week influence as the club teamed up with Indian fashion designer Manish Arora for a unique capsule collection at the SS19 runway show.
