In a move that further cements his position as one of the biggest stars in world football today, Kylian Mbappé has become a brand ambassador for Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot.

French newspaper Le Figaro report that the move will see Mbappé become the brand’s leading athlete replacing Olympic sprint legend and aspiring footballer Usain Bolt. He'll join a stellar list of sportsmen on the Hublot roster, which includes the great Pelé and Manchester United manager José Mourinho.

It’s yet another indicator of Mbappé’s rising marketability following his eye-catching performances in France’s World Cup success this year, with Nike also having his back. Although unconfirmed, the deal is rumoured to be worth as much as €1 million per year. Not bad for a guy who only turns 20 this December. Talking about Nike athletes and watch deals, Ronaldo's watch is worth over £1.85m. That's annoying, isn't it?
