Juventus Signs New $465m Extension With adidas

Juventus and adidas have announced a new partnership deal that will see the Serie A champions continue to wear the Three Stripes right up to June 30, 2027.

The current deal between the Italians and adidas begun in 2015 and was set to expire in June 2021, and both parties have acted early to ensure that they remain together for at least another 8 seasons, ending at the end of the 2026/27 campaign. The new deal will come into play from the beginning of the 2019/20 season and will be worth €408m.

The current deal sees Juve bank €26m per season, the new deal will see that rise to €51m per season.

Juve have already bagged themselves a €15m bonus from adidas for their strong showing over the past season, and the new deal is a strong show of confidence from adidas that Juve will continue to be a leading force in the next decade. One of their leading players in Paulo Dybala is at the club, and Cristiano Ronaldo's presence, despite being the Nike man, is always a strong asset to have on side.

The irony of Messi and Ronaldo playing their entire careers in rival branded kits goes on...
